This was a brand new show at Kings Island. I dealt with a large portion of the sound for this show, but also have other responsibilities. I mixed the show on a Soundcraft LX7ii. Some of the challenges I faced were old and outdated equipment that would sometimes fail. We used ULX transmitters and receivers,
borrowed from our sister park Cedar Point. We also used Qlab for playback, background vocals, and timecode triggers to the lighting board. I feel that I learned a lot in my time at Kings Island, such as how to deal with guests and how to be varied in my knowledge base.
