I was the mix engineer on this production. Since this was an opera, there weren't a lot of microphones to deal with, just 12 mics total. The director also didn't want any sound effects, she wanted all sound to come from the actors. Because of this, I decided to practicing good mix techniques, understanding the sound board a bit more, and revising my mix script-making skills (excerpt attached below). Altogether, Candide gave me the opportunity to refine the little details in the mixing process.
